ISIS: “Coming Here!?”

How Do We Know What We are Defending Against When
It
Hasn’t, Yet, Happened, or Worse,
been spelled correctly?

October-November, 2014

Introduction

Being a republic and participating through open discussion, debate and vote in such things as our prospective injury or demise, and trying to prevent that from happening, we owe ourselves the address of and answer to the question in the title regarding this currently referenced as a world and particularly American threat, “how do we know what we are defending against happening to us when it, yet, hasn’t?” When some of our leadership say “If we lose there, they are coming here!,” what does that latter prospect “they are coming here!” mean?

As bad as it may be to contemplate such a thing, and because I’ve been in the business of addressing worst case-like real catastrophes and influences upon their victims for a while, I think this.

We  should answer that question, to include exploration to the hypothetical prospective worst case. If we restrict thinking to today’s reality, where we are fairly secure in our belief of serious indestructibility, as the former CIA Chief General Michael Hayden said today on TV, we will not, unless we are just lucky, make adequate decisions to avert the prospective opposite that is causing the expanding concern otherwise certainly felt deeply within. By somebody.

Because there are no current scientific models for truly accurately measuring the probabilities of this prospective worst case, we have to guess. We also draw upon history and the more profound experiences of our group who’ve actually been in really bad places: for example, in the crowd of the finish line at the Boston Marathon when it was blown up (April 15, 2013), and then in the same city during the four day chase-fight-capture/killing of the two culprits; as the Islamist Army Psychiatrist was gunning down the unarmed to injury and death at Fort Hood (November 5, 2009); in the corridor next to the elevators as the Twin Towers crashed (September 11, 2001), or watching from the buildings next door as our neighbors leaped hundreds of feet to their deaths from the burning higher floors and roof. Those folks, those survivors, those witnesses, know what near death from murder is like. They don’t have to guess. Thus, they know, say as differently from those who don’t and opine, even exclaim against over-reacting, that defending against such things, what may actually be “existential matters,” is important.

But is that kind of terrorism, a periodic experience of perpetrator- or some sort of extremist-caused serious pain, what we are trying to plan for when speaking of someone’s, in this threat assessment referring to ISIS’s, “coming here?”  If so, our FBI and their informants are on guard against such prospects, intending to nip that kind of threat in the bud. And, despite the few killers who’ve gotten through, so far, those protectors do a fine job, in the main. As, because of such defenders, many of us are still here who otherwise probably wouldn’t be.

Maybe, though, this ISIS approach is a different manner of threat; NOT just periodic; NOT just creating fear and disruption — a day or week off work; NOT just producing of a pain that we can get over with time, as the wild criminal perpetrators are caught, tried and punished — giving us some sense of justice; or remedying the experience with the repression of memory, the healing of a wound, the eventual passing of grief attending loss of our beloved. We have enough people, character, resilience as a nation, enough faith in ourselves and even God, to assimilate those kinds of non-existential — except for the targets of the terror implementation method — consequences of “their coming here,” we think, believe, hope.

So is this scare — of a particular and sort of new, in its dramatic appearance, group — again raising the need for the appropriate defense, different? And, why would we call it “an existential matter for this civilization” when nobody else is taking it that far? For example, certainly this “coming here” business for this formation of rag tag of seemingly, again, Islamist start ups couldn’t be of the 1937 Nanking variety. When “they came here” in that story, an individual ontologically/Enlightenment-evolving citizenry awaited day to day with even some upbeatedness the coming Shinto Emperor-adoring Japanese Army — those lovers of Chinese life died in the hundreds of thousands, their innocent raped in similar numbers, children bayoneted as infants, and sometimes in their mothers’ bodies before the babies were even born. One could not meander down the streets, but for the covering of corpses. Former protectors were defeated quickly, corralled, and then marched off by the tens of thousands to separate places, where they were murdered in their ranks. Those once protective walls of power collapsed, and then crumpled into oblivion. That people, the city, the existence of a remarkably beautiful life of vibrant millions, died a horrible death. And they wouldn’t have been resurrected from that dead, at least for the next millennium, but for the saving grace of another warrior, a Japanese-destroying nation, America. Nanking  learned what “an existential matter” meant the very hard and cruel way.

Now who would save America from that lesson learned, should such disaster befall this light? Who would be left to refer to that civilization-level loss as a tragedy for the world? Who would resurrect us, to revive our ongoing love of life? The Russians? The Chinese? Anybody still standing and not yet converted?

Probably no one. Which untoward thought makes this ISIS, whose stated goals are to bring about just such a world catastrophe, matter worth contemplating for the prospective or just possible worst case, especially when the prospects that this “coming” may be an existential matter, not just the advent of periodic experiences of terrorism from which those of us graced to survive will, at least in part, recover. There is no recovery when matters relevant to existential consideration prevail/predominate, to mean come true.

Contemplation: Why it’s needed and how to do it

Alright, then. Contemplation of such matters was my job for a while, when mostly sitting in the rain in holes, albeit filled with water, mud and sand, and inhabited by all forms of bugs, giving us shelter against the adversary to come, whenever. Intelligence would send Red Alerts to my platoon sergeants and officers out fairly close to where I and other Marines stood guard against the Vietcong. Periodically, about every ten days, we were assured “they were coming,” again by Intelligence, but never with the attendant details related to the specific times, places or manner of attack, except that it would likely be dark. The counter plan: send the Marines, usually meaning me and at least one other person, out to intercept them. The REAL contemplation for fighting this sneaking-up kind of foe was left, at least at Chu Lai, South Vietnam, in the monsoons-permeated and -controlling fall-winter of 1965, to a PFC (Private First Class). Me.

I mention the rain because, after several days, then weeks, and extending into months, four of them before transferring to another job in operations, it helped one to think, slowing/releasing our thoughts from such and more complex things as back home, or the beer ration which that far out from the base we didn’t get, competition for promotion back in the civilized component of the Marine Corps, or better yet even coffee hoped-to-be fresher than thirty or so hours and always diluted in its open canister/bucket-like containers by the downward flowing currents. And while no longer having to be concerned about those more weighty life considerations, starring without night-vision goggles — they had not, yet, been invented — for long periods into the wet darkness helped, making this guardian become one with the threat, a bit like Zen, I would think.  I did study it a decade later on the more dry and upbeat campus grounds of The University of Texas at Austin, where while being educated I still, even though apparently then safe, contemplated, at least in the dark, somebody’s coming. In hindsight, am fairly certain that that usage of the skill was spurred on at the time, even after ten years of first honing it, by another mass, as in somebody else’s national-level, existential happening. Beginning and ending in the spring of 1975, my old NVA enemy rolled in a matter of days down our also old allies’ Highway One in now the former Republic of South Vietnam, all the way to Uncle Ho’s City, then Saigon.

Apparently, even when protected by the deep thinking constituents on that central Texas campus in Austin, I never got over the job function of contemplating how bad things might happen, which failure apparently leads to why I wrote this piece about these prospective very bad things and defending against them, particularly when you don’t know what to defend against. For example, you don’t know what “they are coming” even means. And worse, rarely does anybody else, and particularly neither does “intelligence” from on high, know either.

How would they, ISIS, do all that, though, given that they are so far away, in terms of the hordes or marching armies of the gargantuan size needed to bring about such fear from us, and then also and conversely protective rationalizations that such thinking is only delusion hyped hysteria? Those kinds of thinkers, most likely referring to people like me, should just learn to “calm down!” it has been said by those who are protecting us from hysteria mania: the argued to be irrational desire to stay alive and keep our families that way, too.

So I did, once, “calm down” becoming instead an interceptor no longer of Charlie (“Victor Charlie” was the radio term for VC/Vietcong), but just a fighter of psychopathically deranged perpetrators in my work of trauma management. However, no matter my testing of and then giving application to every kind of adjustment therapy/management device floating through the non combatantized civilian psychobabble-laced management stratosphere that runs America’s periodically  peaceful times, the adage “they are coming here, maybe” again predominates for contemplation. Mine. Hence, I’m doing it again, contemplation, and drawing upon those past skills which helped me to intercede the pathological directions of the psychopathic-acting in America’s streets and homes, and allowed me to predict the South’s fall in 1975, and then again the guerrilla war to be in Iraq before Saddam Hussein’s statue was pulled down by the locals, and with a little help from America.

What would it look like? What makes them think they, ISIS or its base, the full conglomeration of the hell-bent aspects of unreformed — to mean not yet caught up with the West in caring about, much less managing for such things as individual human rights — Islam, Islamism, could even do such a thing? Get across all that water, particularly when they don’t yet have any airplanes or even boats? As another CIA director said only a couple of years ago, they would have to be “completely delusional” to think they even qualify as an element of a great civilization like Islam, much less pump themselves up as competitors to the otherwise believed by the world to be indestructible USA, in their own words, The Great Satan.

Parenthetically, because it’s almost another subject, who’s been delusional, if not inexplicably amiss at doing their job — protecting the American people?! Surely not “Intelligence,” or its unrepentant head, as that would make the title seem oxymoronic.

Secret Weapon: Allah

The answer to this important and reasonable question, but which unfortunately for our also reasonable thinkers here in the West is that Allah, emphasizing not the peaceful one directing the non extremists Muslims in America, shows them the way. “Oh NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!” say our analysts comprising Intelligence. “It can’t be! NOBODY uses THAT model anymore. Not in this more edified,  even erudite, if not more completely cool Chirp-based twenty-first century. We separated that archaic part of the mind’s use in the later nineteenth century, thanks to Nietzsche and those politicos on the opposite spectrum from our more spiritual/religious guys here. Our management is based on hard fought-for twentieth century objectivity, and twenty first applications of multiple interlocking Behavioral, legal, Cognitive Behavioral, other rationally emoting control kinds of therapies, probabilities interpretative and other intellectual management constructions. And, who can objectify something like this old stuff from not just the past, but wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy back there? It’s embarrassing to even talk about it in the open here in the West, not to mention on TV. Whew!!!!! That discussion would be a career changer, too.”

It gets worse. Which is to mean that Allah doesn’t think like us; which also provides the only possible way where they could even conjure a plan that would bring about the complete demise of this particular, as in well-fortified — based upon the way WE think — three hundred million people, otherwise defended by what that “OUR thinking” considers to be invincible walls, just like Nanking’s and other nice places’ protections once were.

I think it’s  a simple evaluation. If Allah is powerful enough, that spiritual or otherwise ISIS enthusiasts’ everything-based-bigger-than-even-nukes force will create an existential matter for this target: Western civilization — America being its current cornerstone to be sundered — and even Eastern and Northern civilizations when done with the first. That is to mean, Allah will do it; all His followers need do is adhere to their namesakes and follow directions.

And as the late Sayyid Qutb would describe for those who don’t believe in, or who don’t know much about collective mental domination through declarative paradoxing, and applying double entendere-styled mindsplitting thought algorithms, “It’s already written. Gonna happen no matter what you do. So, surrender to the process — Allah’s getting what He wants — and, make it easy on yourself. Enjoy the bliss of being one with the winning side of destiny, not to mention its expansion all the way into the Hereafter.” Which I guess coincidentally means, depending upon with whom you are speaking, surrender to submission to Allah, the Arabic translation of “submission” being the operative word, “Islam,” again with regrets for the continuous face-off conflict with more recent apologists historians. Meet the REAL, or at least unreformed Islam. I mean, how else do you think this group was able to maintain its dichotomous ok-and-REALLY-not-ok controversy for nearly one and a half millennia?

This Allah provides its directions through the mechanisms that draw upon the total of human capacity, to include and particularly to emphasize the unconscious. Through concentration upon following the deity’s direction, a presentation of the matter and from that unconscious occurs. Nothing new here. In the referenced Islamic management modality, sometimes the orders from both below conscious and interpreted as from outside the person, work out, and sometimes they don’t. Looking at the activity from hindsight, those directions that DID do well are said as a matter of policy/doctrine to be Allah’s, and those that don’t come from somewhere else, to mean “man” or even, or better said emphatically, “Satan.”

Islam and other religions have been running themselves and their followers this way for eons. Except that, depending on geopolitics, Islamists add some institutionalized by doctrine human psychopathy — that is to say believe or act conclusively the wrong way, today, and one is dead pretty quickly — and which patho-rigidity has mostly been doctrinarily cordoned off in now reformed religious programs and activities. For example, at the end of the seventeenth century, Scotland tried and executed its last citizen for Christian heresy, subsequent to appeals being heard, weighed and expounded upon by the highest ranking jurists in the land of the time. Coming out of a local pub, a young university aged student would, in a drunken condition, opine that Jesus was not a deity, the son of God. Just before hanging him, the young Scot would apologize from the scaffold with “I really didn’t mean it.”

But reformers stopped all of that with the Enlightenment born, at least in that part of the great Reformation, out of an intent to separate religious belief from a people’s secular management of itself, allowing then for different interpretations of such divine experience to exist.

Western Legal Profession Fallibles’ and Traditional Rational Cognitive Behavioral-Focused Influences on Allah-Response Management

When not so cordoned, as is still the case in applications of Islamism, there’s more, and it’s very important. It stems from disparities in principal thought, epistemological, and what some consolidate as ideological parameters effecting those differences, to mean bringing them about. Though there are many variables for consideration regarding this topic, in this essay I’ve highlighted two. They pertain to our use of legal reasoning or constructive competitive logic, to include its application in analysis, debate, and the exercise of judgment, versus the violent Allah’s use of a later to be explained something else.

First and with the intent to narrow/simplify the matter, our system of predominating Behaviorally-oriented management*, though originally drawing from the backgrounds of myriad professions, has apparently in an attempt to strengthen itself begun to emphasize formal legal analysis and judgment in those domains other than the practice of law before and within the courts. Because Behavioral Management can have broad and sometimes differing descriptions/definitions, here is the one I use when applying SHOM interactively with it.

*Behaviorally-oriented management refers (here) to those who would use the hierarchically-ordered learning standard where organization and objectification of pertinent events results in intellectualization of decision making, to include problem analysis, establishment of goals, and commitment to completing tasks, to mean achieving what one has set out to do. Epistemologically, Behavioral Management was initiated in the conformation of Hebraic writings/teachings with more often secular Hellenic philosophy, then combined with the methodological elements of Christian doctrine over two millennia, which was parsed into a merger eventually recognized intellectually as the West; and more, later it was re secularized by adding nineteenth/twentieth century concepts of science ─ habituation and desensitization methodology/ideology ─ and the molecular neurobiology of consciousness, or not, to the confluence. Speaking not just euphemistically but intendedly politely, the Behavioral Management thought model/construct has kept its users busy, if not mostly occupied, figuring itself out and then codifying its periodic conclusions for both its duration and, as always, in the current. Simplifying the matter, Behavioral Management consists of someone with an idea telling someone else what to do. When the latter follows directions, things work out; happiness, satisfaction, contentment prevail. When directions are not followed, Behavioral Management either causes harm, sustains periodic and costly disruptions, or collapses altogether. The opposite of the just referenced euphoric experiences reflect Behavioral Management’s rule when things are not going well.

Generally speaking, i.e., even before the current crisis with ISIS developed, I have thought that the practice of law extends this referenced Behavioral Management model to its sharpest attainment of reflection or epitome of what it is supposed to be and how it is supposed to perform. And, the strict law-/statutes-emphasizing/-adhering character of Cassius in Cicero’s On Oratory (circa 50 BCE), would likely agree with me, I believe. Though the Behavioral approach to individual and collective decision making and completion of tasks deserves some respect for its contributions to management, it’s not always that way — to mean that it is so deserved. Here are two essays from other work (my own) that present basic exceptions taken with the clinical elements of the Behavioral Management model and their recent, over the last fifty years, seepage into educational and social management, dramatically influencing both. The essays’ titles are The Genghis Khan of Psychotherapy: One Origin and Critical Perspective of Behavioral Therapy (BT) and its Reformation – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); and PART III (Conclusion) The Good Rebel in Most of us; Distinguishing Good from Bad Rebels, and How to Strengthen the Former against the Latter.

To take one example of lawyering’s increasing influences, it was introduced as a more integral component of combat during the 1991, and then again, 2001, 2003, Afghanistan and Iraq Wars. Commanders have commented that they began to be required to send requests for such things as ordinary military assault through legal screening/interpretive mechanisms; and that change, if accurately noted, may or may not have encumbered the fighting activity, the point only being that influence is occurring. To take a couple of other examples, particularly emphasizing social communications, sharp legal reasoning now affects decision making at many government, and to include even media levels. A lawyer, instead of a medical management professional, was recently appointed as a “Czar” for the address of a highly infectious and deadly disease. Journalists today conduct televised public discussion through legal/lawyer trainings. Seemingly increasingly, more of our social managers are coming from the lawyer class.

For me and my work where the focus is trauma management, that is, I study not just thought models but their interactions, particularly non homogeneous ones, I think the expanding legal influence is palpable. Here in a preface to the above second referenced essay is an explanation of that perspective manifested in my, or this Etiotropically trauma management influenced, problem solving environment.

Reformed/reforming Islamic styled governments have acquiesced to this differing civilizational influence in their own spheres of management; that is, at least while speaking in English to the West they’ve demonstrated conformance with the ideas of Westernized legal influences like international courts, rational and critical thinking. That’s a big change from the days of lawyer-trained Presidents John Adam’s and Thomas Jefferson’s appraisal of and contentions with Islam’s Barbary Pirate crises, and where the Islamics didn’t even try to fake adherence to things like Western logic and law, and mostly we just paid the ransom for our crews in the beginning, and then finally invaded toward the end of the relationship.

This new and apparently rapidly spreading Caliphate-aspiring-even-claiming group has repudiated the Westernized changes upon decision making, however; and they’ve done it in all languages. One symbolic purpose of what in the summer of 2014 we are calling murder, and even from our perspective heinously committed, they are calling the dictates of Allah — again for this writing referring to the more aggressive as opposed to the ontologically-focused, or say, spiritually inclined one.

Allah, then in general terms that we frequently use but less often understand, is for Islam as a whole both Behavioral and internally spiritual; and Islamism employs more of the former than the latter, at least when it is having to reinstate itself as the ascendent component of that otherwise fundamental Self. When contrived for political purposes, an horrific event — which in Behavioral terms used here means “Do what I say or I’m going to correct/arrest/punish/hurt/kill you” — instead of looking awful to that constituency’s everyone, is instead managerially affirming through its offering of certitude regarding who, what and how to believe, to mean Islamically in all three options: Allah.

That slight of hand thought transformation puts the horror of murder, carnage, death into a construction of logic where the demise of the individual is seen for its managerial or behavioral management effects on those involved. Where targets, described below in “Methodically Applied Guerrillaism and Terrorism,” will act out not always in their best interests, the other benficiary of the slaughter will be the solidifying effects on forming cohesion amongst the violent Allah’s followers/advocates.

Considering the basics that the non believer has now been sent off and the believer is still alive, becomes not just cause for celebration, but recognition that things are working out with Allah’s leadership. Moreover, worse for us and better for that side, knowing that the death is an expression of Allah’s will adds a spiritual dimension to the event. Killing for Allah is not just positive affirmation — the act demonstrates that the doer is on the right path to a happy eternity — but a sure sign that this taking of life imbues the killer with a sense of righteously ordained fulfillment, in the process subordinating Western idealized legal right to life of the sacrificial individual victim to the damned. Some have called this phenomenon, as manifested in violent Islam’s approach to crowd/follower/believer management, “blood lust.” The most pointedly non apologist piece I’ve found — with both feet, it gets right in the face of Western academic apologists — on this subject was done by Princeton  Professor Paul Eidelberg. It is entitled “Islam and Blood.”

It’s not news that Western legal consciousness, for wont of a better description, is based on competitively critical analysis, debate, philosophy, struggle for ever-changing intellectual ascendancies and their influences upon political power, an attempt to identify and then impart fairness, and etcetera. And neither is it so notable that those attributes of ordered, and sometimes even in appearance disordered, being and doing function both similarly and at odds with those Behaviorally influenced mechanisms which rule by Islamism’s Allah, at least the violent one which like the peaceful psychic formation is ordered by its own codification: Shariah. Both thought/management models, Western legal and Oriental/Islamic Shariah, employ fairly strict Behavioral applications into implementation of ruling authority.

However, the influence of and then value of supremacy resulting from application of deity status into the contest between Behaviorally predominating constructs (What’s a construct?) is not always so accounted for during comparative analysis. That is, where Allah removes the chance of error, ours is almost always rife with the prospects. Where Allah is never wrong, never allowing argument regarding its essence, our core is seen as often being up for grabs, particularly when political control of the various law making bodies changes hands. The logic points, if one wants to be on top competitively, to the deification of managerial thinking as the apparently most appropriate approach. That is, when backing off and looking at it, who in their right minds would not select omniscience and omnipotence over certain fallibility, unless of course, the former was asseverated to be phony? Therein — that mechanism of decision making, selection of direction, and then collective expression of political will — lies the challenge in this contest between these ruling classes.

Minimization, at least as a strategically interpretive psychologically motivating ploy during or leading up to battle, of our opposition’s methods and tactics through barbarization of them — arguments that Western legalese influences represent the advanced forwardness of civilization’s naturally selective onward and upward evolutionary march, and that these religious outlaws represent the regressing backward part — is a mistake. With its non chance of failure, this Allah antagonist is smarter than that, taking the oft claimed power of positive thinking to its psychic ultimate: attainment of political ascendancy’s trumping erudition/truth/altruism, things of course, that lawyers are made of, or used to be. Sort of like an ever-multiplying fission reaction, it, reiterated to be the indomitable supremacy of Allah, then forms itself not just within an individual psychological apparatus comprising each member of its organization, persons who otherwise think they might do well with some upbeatedly-styled affirmation, even fantastical, but is more supportively affirming in a collective where everybody still intact gets in on the assured thrill of adopting the defining/leading/infused/not-capable-of-loss/Allah-enmeshed intellect.

That means that when you are interacting, fighting or just some other way dealing with a single violence-based jihadist within your global midst, you are also taking on the whole program. Is like a large bowl of long spaghetti where each noodle is connected at its end to another. Trying to eat it, or fight them, is a tangled psychically convoluted mess. Applying Western law’s wonderments balancing the doctrines of fairness, proof, reasonableness and justice become ensnared within and by the intertwinings of cult control principles.

Dissociated from Western-styled checks on a skewed, even sometimes in these kinds of examples severed, reality gone undeterred, its almost like a hard nosed socialist’s giant Behaviorism dream for humankind. That is, where everybody goes in one direction, with the dreammaker probably not, yet, out of college, and also of course, being in a kind of charge that is attended by the capacity to force compliance. Saying it another way with some jargon, pathological or even systemically manifested criminal narcissism can and often does add a pillar to the forming violent Allah’s platform for existence.

In (Etiotropic) trauma management, we’ve concluded that when disparate thought/management  Behaviorally-based (i.e., follow directions from higher ups) models collide as shown here — in this instance referring to the appositive Western legal vs. always-truth-asseverating Allah-dictating models — there will be no integration that satisfies one side with the other. Neither reality recognizes, much less tolerates that other. As asseverated previously, the identifying adage from the Allah-based perspective, of course, declaims that the legal influenced thinking/management model is unreliably “man-made” and theirs is constructed by God, in this community referred to as Allah who is absolutely reliable, and also absolutely all of the time. So everybody involved with and on that non secular side tends to go with it, after they’ve figured out which IT is the real thing. Removing heads of dissenters facilitates fast figuring.

So what?

Well. Here’s what. Not only does the obstinately imbued Allah-led gang do well at powering over us politically within the target polity to be befriended, amicably influenced, or in a clinch conquered — our product is said to be less reliable than is theirs — but our oppositional legal thinking framework, to include the exercise of judgment, is being most frequently and unbeknownst to its /followers/believers/lawyers sundered by the same trauma-causing activity it otherwise intends to manage. “Well. How do you figure that?! Why would we study all of this deeply rigid stuff if we didn’t want to get ahead, and probably be in charge, too?” say maybe some students somewhere in somebody’s law school otherwise aspiring to be rationally cognitively sharp.

Here’s how. In working, emphasizing Etiotropically, with trauma victims, the ones suffering the greatest influence by an event, and simultaneously least noticed during the crisis, is that person who trains his or her mind most rigorously to objectify the subsequent management process. The crisis manager, in this instance referring to the legal mind and say higher abstractionist working as a leader of an entity’s principal responsible decision maker during combatant times, may do well in appearance at the beginning of, and for some even while performing stalwartly within the duration of such events, but over time will become subject to this trauma induced vulnerability.

Moreover and most probably counter to the targets’ beliefs, the stronger the character, the more determined to succeed or win, the more intense the reliance upon erudition, the greater the capacity for resistance to control by the onslaught, then the more demonstrable the internally experienced destruction to the underpinnings of the lawyering fighter/crisis manager’s thought model as a whole. The trope with which most regulars are familiar regarding this principle as applied to the internal, “the bigger they are, the harder they fall.” Or another way of saying it, the higher up in abstract strength, the further the fall when it begins, and inevitably more complete  the collapse to come following the both individual and collective system’s traumatization.

“Huh?! Well, that might wash in treatment center discoveries of  trauma’s peculiarities; but what’s it look like in  the arena of real political life?” might say a few disbelievers.

The offensive trauma manager (also OTM in this work), referring to the person who uses surprisingly applied terror/horror to manipulate/undermine/destroy his adversary, say as opposed to fighting him on the battlefield outright, understands this principle. He calls its manifestation in global dialogue the “paper tiger” effect. The Western leadership’s legal model looks and even sounds stoically rough and tough on the outside, but system mental innards are made frail as they take a beating from the expertly apportioned trauma, particularly when there are no enforcements of declarations/power available. The extra manipulative OTM  will use this knowledge about how trauma works on the highly and most dedicatedly legally trained to target the apparently invincible — as it rouses its polity with the rhetoric of indefeatability — leadership of the competing organization/entity/nation, calling for its collapse, then watching it happen as if a prescient observer, also making its, the Islamist’s, management approach appear even more powerful, as in all knowingly in tune/sync with Allah. At least the ummah will think so. And, even you Westerners will begin to have doubts about your own program’s authorship validity within the world scene when your stringently legally influenced/thinking leadership’s roar turns into a meow.

An example? At the end of the summer of 2014, and following the beheading of American journalists, the United States of America ordered its military to degrade and destroy the notorious headchopping murderous extremists who were conquering and taking over the management of northern Iraq and Syria. Following the beheading in the same region of former Army Ranger Peter Edward Kassig on probably Veteran’s Day, November 11 of the same year, the also same lawyer-led US administration ordered a review of its policy regarding hostages.

Summarizing the matters pertaining to the legal mind’s influence on management of the conflict with this enemy:

  1. Competition for reality system ascendency in predominating Behavioral-based social management models blinds Westernized legal reasoners, precluding them from identifying clearly and accurately what they are fighting, resulting interimly in the opposition’s gaining strength in geopolitical power — increasing followers; and
  2. Once embedded into decision making, the legal mind is more vulnerable than the ordinary one to traumatic undermining and manipulation, and without anyone’s, except the opposition’s offensive trauma manager’s, understanding the weakness; it is then exploited with a high degree of certainty of outcome.

How else could a few guys using pickup trucks as both troop transport and roving lite auto cannon fire, whip up so conclusively on the world’s population of F18, drone, and the highest tech in military planning and expression of power? Now, I guess we should hope they don’t get REALLY funded.

Pushing on without regard for those fallibles will further traumatize the system which is otherwise unprepared for the onslaught. Is akin to two Sumo wrestlers going stomach against stomach, with those on the sidelines wondering which is going to be rolled over. This one factor regarding the influences of disparateness in reality on appraisal of the opposition has crushed our management efforts in the summer/fall of 2014, and probably starting even much earlier. With every presentation of horror, and particularly when televised, even the best of our legal minds are not just being rolled over, but flattened, pinned to the mat, thrown out of the ring altogether. They are not even in the contest, and throughout the history of this matchup most assuredly never were.

You want to beat these guys’ violent Allah and see your loved ones and theirs live — at least survive into and then beyond the twenty-second century? And maybe even carry along to the same period a bit of your ideas about the meanings of civilized problem solving, I mean like retaining the wherewithal to emphasize and enforce individual legal rights and such? Implement Phases One, Two and Three described both earlier and then again later in this thesis. In the mean time, however, and for emphasis while reading the rest of this essay, forget legal leadershipese-objectified crisis management intellectualization  and attendant cons about how wonderful our generals and administrators think Islam is. Its members scoff at the notion of Western homogeneity with anything other than what it has conquered. And nobody from our side — except maybe just a few remaining on the political way-left — believes that hijacking/excuses/apologist/psycho-phobic crap about poor peaceful Islam anymore, anyway.

The West is not just tired of the chanted up Allahu Akbar deaths caused by criminal mentally deranged and some places called NOT-REAL Muslims, but as well of the formations by so called moderates protesting overly reactive, backlashing-styled civil rights violations even before they have a chance to happen. Those people hit the streets so fast after radical-Islam’s man-made disasters that you’d think they keep their ready-to-go victim marching placards in the hallway by the front door. Or, maybe they get pre event prior notice.

Having participated in forthright conflict where it intersects at both the adage “We don’t want to become like those with whom we are physically waging incomparable war,” and the passion required to sustain life during horrendous assault, I respect legal management’s influence on that perplexingly narrow corridor of decision making. So for that contribution  of how to be a good civilized target/victim with class, thanks be to the notion of rising above humankind’s most difficult-to-understand and many say worst presentation of itself.

Now, however, and after having recognized the importance of that intellect-over-emotion-control contest, and then overlaying it upon or juxtaposing it to this situation, fight Islamism on real terms: ontologically. Do so with the actual anger, rage and, yes, even determined hatred we feel toward it not just  for killing, but purposefully murdering/slaughtering infants and other children — because they or their parents were Christians, Hindis, Jews, or Buddhists — and for cutting off the heads of some of our best Americans, and particularly, doing it on TV. Take an American there — and we targets DON’T do anything ontologically-substantive about it — and psychologically same take its otherwise traditionally struggling-to-be-civilized audience. Cruise missiles and drone applications are not, by themselves, ontologically responsive substantives.

Most importantly, individually or organizationally applying one’s self ontologically disarms OTMs of the capacity to exploit the earlier referenced legally-influenced paper tiger effect. In fact, its former encumbrance while fighting the terrorism method will be just that: former, and for evermore.

Despite some general reputation-sundering over-competitive or under-responsivenesses, we love our lawyers and the contributions their trainings in orderliness make to our civility. The whole legal system keeps us, excepting maybe the pacifists as they by apparent gifts of nature, to mean a mixture of erudition and spiritual evolution are kept from blowing each other apart, at least routinely. However, we like legals best where they belong, in the courtroom. And particularly for engaging this kind of enemy, not on the battlefield.

To the outsider, such a physically contested zone is not always, when active, presenting the appearance of being the most orderly of places. Moreover, unless they, themselves and individually speaking, have been catapulted by incoming through the air a couple of times, I think just hindsight or forecasting by the once legally hallowed third party objective observer/adjudicator/academe, renders that group incapable of measuring accurately the influence of visceralness required to do the job.

To overcome the problems of administering by team a war conflict, and with its members presenting with differing levels of experience in 1966, Central Highlands of Vietnam, helicopter squadron or line officers constantly rotated through the group operations (MAG 36; S-3) command section. That rotation had the dual effects of enhancing decision making for the hierarchical top — giving it greater experientially-based substance — and sending commanders back to the line who were savvy of the logic forming that top. Parenthetically, although I’ve told some of that story in personal memoirs, when time allows I hope to convey it in more detail in another venue, and from an Etiotropic trauma manager’s perspective of that experience of the Vietnam War. This is not the place for that conveyance.

Fighting when fired up has its own laws of order, logic and reason culminating in a synergism that takes/carries both the collective and its individual members into another plane of functioning, and to include decision making. The group-to-individual-and-back process of adding to itself is passed on experientially and didactically, with its wisdom, strength and contribution to learning drawing primarily from the former. Albeit, I DO think you can get some of the gist by reading special story-teller details in, for one, The Battle of Agincourt in John Keegan’s The Face of Battle, and another, Gettysburg; The Last Invasion by Allen Guelzo.

Anticipating what you are going to hear in greater detail in “Phase Two” of this series of essays, incite somebody, ourselves, to get past this overly legal influenced fighting malaise model and save our butts before we have to drag them chasing one and a half billion jihadis across the sand dunes of the Sahara, or maybe even at White Sands in New Mex. Or, them chasing us.

“Something Else:” Psychic Individual and Collective Interpretation of the more rigorously Aggressive Allah

This subsection shows how to evaluate for and interpret that often called spiritual or religious, but actually psychic-politico force, then contend and contest with it, that Allah. Where this essay does not consider a psychology of the peacefully-loving-and-doing-good-works Allah, it does address the very antagonistically violently aggressive one. The expanding aspects of its strength has nothing to do with a real deity, but only a collective psychopathy that both spawns and spawns mostly out of psychological trauma.

The “Allah” referenced here arises out of a human psychology divided against itself, as in the psychiatric concept of dissociation, usually caused by either biological illness locused in the brain, or trauma to it occurring as a consequence of hard, even brutally so, times. Where that internal derision can manifest, i.e., speaking in terms of otherwise achieving world peace, innocuously in some, the more acute its formation — but which unfortunately is not visible to the conscious or even outsiders like our problem solving proactives — the more likely the tendency that defensive projections, described below, can manifest violently.

At its farthest dimensions, the referenced split then forms a protective filter through which, like an optically perceptual skewing lens, again all things are seen. A function of the filter is to defend itself, which will include creation through apotheoization of itself into an immutable congruency to life, in this instance becoming Allah. The process has also been apotheoatically institutionalized here through doctrine, which deitization helps to protect against dissident interpretation, necessarily as such recognition expressed into the conscious would send the pathy down into the dust of psychological ruin. In the alternative, the protections affirm the now intrinsically aggressive dimensions of the dissociated condition.

Assisted by that doctrine, the filter in an abiding individual is strengthened through projection of the pain internally felt behind the filter/lens onto those around them. Kafirs, or unbelievers, or even so called “moderate” Muslims — those not using the filtering lens and its projective defenses — shy away from the phenomenon as it anchors into, as internalized by, various citizens.

Generally speaking, those Allah-avoiding more internally relaxed others don’t want, nor feel the same need, to get that carried away with their own pain. They find, as different from the more fired up filtering Brothers, mechanisms for that expression. Prayer (in a language they understand), meditation, quietude, listening with reason in conversation for meaning, psychotherapy, introspection, reading of the Word and good literature handed down over the ages, and finding an inner voice that explores and draws upon basic human qualities of goodness and which is based on caring for others, instead of trying to whip them into the shape of an image palatable to some unreal fantasy of being, makes for a softly viable pain-assuaging congruency to life.

Regrettably though, and unbeknownst often for them, the lens-encumbered brothers need these mediating and usually politically distinguished “moderate” others to affirm the projection, somehow; to usually mean adopt the lens for themselves. When they, i.e., the contiguous, don’t, they gotta go, as the pain otherwise boomerangs back onto its patho-senders. No good self respecting cult can function, much less expect to crusade forward without first quashing/squashing the boomeranging psychic effect.

Hence, the creation of Dar al Harb. It is the state of war with non members of the filtering group. As people lose their heads — not just figuratively, but literally — to such collective psychopathology, the surviving witnesses become more motivated to convert, and more understandably, even, when this kind of heinously-caused death is closer by. To highlight social concerns regarding escalation of that phenomenon — referring to projection’s physical and more untoward manifestation through horrific aggression — once such homicidals get started, its hard to calm them down.

Winston Churchill is said to have warned the West about that individual to collective psychic phenomena when saying “Islam is as dangerous in a man as rabies in a dog.” No wonder the current, 2009-2014, national admin sent the Brits’ great one’s bust back to its home; it apparently wasn’t just because he was a Colonialist, as some have opined.

Psychopathia, Violence, and trying to Manage for Both

“Psychopathia,” as I’ve repeatedly used it here may require some explanation for this reading. Here is a general/skeletal one.

There are some good definitions through review of the literature regarding the subject — which this blog-oped-based work in trauma management is not intended to be part of — whether referring to its more precise biological state or a mimicking condition resulting from environmental influences, again, such as psychological trauma. Uncontrolled drug use can reflect the same condition.

In this essay, the general image of the illness/disorder/sociopathology conforms to a psychological apparatus, whether hosted in the mind of a single person, or in the collective functionings of such people. Moreover, not only does it or do they appear to not care about the damage occurring to objects/targets of the attendant untoward behavior, but when it happens and the objects/targets/victims complain and otherwise try to stop the behavioral manifestation, the hosting psychology, individual or collective views those complaints as both unwarranted and causal to the hosts’ condition, whatever negatives can be found in it.

Hence, a circumstance pertaining to problem solving with the psychopathic condition is that it doesn’t respond to traditional rational cognitive methods of discussion, for example as discovered through debate, to mean reasoning. Moreover, pacifism fails abysmally with psychopathia influenced conditions because the namesake with the condition doesn’t have the same kind of brain as the pacifist. So when the latter attempts to trick the former into adopting trust and love, instead of using distrust and hate in their arguments, the pacifists get eaten up. Or maybe just killed. They never knew what they were up against; thus what hit them.

Making matters worse, when individual and systemic manifestations of psychopathia become institutionalized into organizational doctrine, policies and procedures governing operation, the use of Western methods for addressing differences has little to no chance of succeeding, and no matter how wished for that to be the case. In the end, institutionalized psychopathia requires an equivalent resistance sustained by some form of force to interrupt, intercede, prevent, stop the pathological presentation from controlling all. An example of this concept applied to American foreign policy in the twentieth century was called the theory of containment, as applied in the Cold War against Soviet hegemony.

Also, although all psychopaths don’t manifest violently, as is the concern here, they ALL DO support the collective and institutionalized elements** of the condition/disorder, particularly as they are manifested Islamically (In Islam’s doctrines/rules pertaining to fighting). If not interceded by somebody who understands the relationship — between not-innately violent psychopaths, and then just ordinary cult participants, and the referenced doctrinal “elements” that channel the whole’s thought/action governing entity existence — that support will guarantee the ever-application of horror by the more psycho-aggressive components of the constituency.

**In his thorough and unaltered-by-apologist-politics discourse on jihad (a call to holy war) and fatah (active application of violence intended to overthrow usually next-door competitors), Walid Phares documents the full multi-millennia history attending the Islamic empire’s jihadically inspired aggressiveness, to include changes undergone as adaptations to political and survival realities. I’ve referred to them — the merger of spirituality-gone-politic and psycho-hegemony that effectuates jihad and fatah — in this essay as the “institutionalized/doctrinal elements” of the psychopathology that intergenerationally drives the both individual and collective force otherwise called, here, “Islam,” or “Islamism.”

There are historical considerations of that institutionalized application of onward psycho-styled aggressiveness. Like the pope’s hierarchically applied authority to interpret human ontological liaisoning with the final deity for the worshippers at that totempole, the Caliphate was given the same power. It alone within the Islamic empire decided the appropriateness of expansion through jihad/fatah. With the demise of the Caliphate in 1924, that authority became dispersed and then assumed by those of Islam who would interpret Allah’s respective will on matters of expansion/jihad/fatah. I believe this recent hundred years only period has been akin to the Christian Reformation (occurring for that group between the thirteenth and nineteenth centuries) where protestants declaimed the individual, as opposed to the Church hierarchy, also capable of direct interaction with the bigger spirit.

Today, then, in these years 2014 to 2015, we are experiencing, in lieu of a single and centralized decision maker, a host of Islamic thinkers who charismatically follow what they think/believe is Allah’s direct advice, for our interest, on who to kill and not. On the one hand, that newness can be confusing to the umma with so many interpretations, some of which may be convoluting with personal psychological influences, coming upon the believers’ scenes. On the other hand, individuals within the umma who have a propensity to go violently aggressive, can do it on behalf of Islam, but only if the person takes the responsibility for seeking through self study, or via inquiry with imams in charge of these interpretations. So that responsibility-taking can lead to exegesis of the Islamic literature for the common umma man, and particularly for the common would-be new umma leader. Although that literature base may be shaky, say for secular academes, surely someone’s from this group taking responsibility for something, anything, will advance the organization as a whole, or at least its hopes for some form of betterment — other than only making progress through surreptitious representation of itself, and constant killing of non-program-participants.

Very smart, to the extent of even being perspicacious, people/managers try to predict which filtering entity will go homicidal, and not. Despite the Netherlands’ psychometrics being tested on immigrants to see who of the new enterers might go bad, it is impossible to pick out the violents before they become that way. But studying them in hindsight allows one to see that some of the non violent actually did have a conscience replete even with, at some level, empathy. Regrettably, such hope fors have been fairly well buried in the filtering mechanism, and it is usually not obvious that they are comprised of traditional Western or basic human or nice Allah accepted values while the catastrophe was going on. In focusing evaluation on this matter for a few decades, I’ve only found that the commonality of homicidal inclination is, as a rule, not to be locused in the individual, but in a function of the systemic aspects of complete polities gone wild, and sometimes ordered by homicidally-infused psychopathics who are somewhere ensconced within the melee, and who get off to the destruction. I’ve addressed such crazed systems, how they get that way, and how to uncraze them where possible, in another series of essays here and here.

Of note in trying to fix these kinds of things without destroying/killing everything on the planet just to get to them, as our parents had to do with the fuhrer and emperor, and as did my generation during the Cold War, when trauma and drug use cause the mimicking of the otherwise true biological initiated pathia, the condition may be intervened upon successfully and a person recovered from it. However, some kind of serious container, like a prison or rehab center, or a lot of luck is required to achieve that goal. And although they appear to occur from time to time, reliance on miracles, referring here to application of competitive theology-based problem solving, just doesn’t work, at least most of those times. My apologies for confronting those who hold out hope for that solution, as their motives are often well intended, albeit that is not enough to save the many who are lost because of otherwise good people’s beliefs in it.

Some resisters, as independent thinkers or people finding ontological sustenance in other programs — Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Therapyism, Hinduism, Secularism, Happy-Happyism, Capitalism, and say, Socialism — will fight back when finding themselves being overtaken by a psychopathically-affected individual/group/doctrinaire. But they don’t last long, physically that is, when the pain-projection phenomenon running the hegemon is tied to slaughtering of not just innocents, but resisters as well, and maybe even in particular. Thereafter, change in philosophy, ideology and methodology doesn’t just attend the adaptations, but is accelerated by the portentousness. Given the certainty of trauma resulting from the particularly heinous — to mean pathically-inspired — creation of loss, conversion to believer-status can in such circumstances happen fast. Add to that the same kind of horror ensured for apostasy, and the attrition rate stays very low, making Islamism/Islam, whichever it turns out to be in the end, not only appear to be a fast growing program, but actually so.

Converting Sufi-like Imbueds to the Violent Allah’s Will

Making this quick, because I would think that you likely already understand this, spiritual  actives apply significant aspects of identity to becoming one with the greater higher power. While still constrained to and by the realities of being alive on Earth, such dedicateds to spiritual evolution strive with total resources to blend themselves with the greater spirit/deity.

Regrettably for those innocents, to mean non psychopaths thus engrossed, Allah represents only one, not both a peaceful and violent Being as I have described here. And whatever that single Allah wants, for such persons that Allah better and likely will get it. So if the hierarchy, which is in charge of the more strategic (expand to where the big money is) aspects of organizational management pertaining to group existence, concludes that Allah demands violence, particularly for a seemingly good/reasonable cause like stopping mistreatment of Muslims somewhere, then in some cases — not all, because the Sufi-like, which is akin to the Buddhist and Christian passively/experientially/existentially oriented components of faith-practice, approach to becoming spiritually evolved functions completely differently from that which inspires political hegemons — violence can become forthcoming from this otherwise once docile being. With proper hierarchical performance, i.e., Allah-interpreter-management and strategic planning, and which can include inducements like blissful afterlife sex with those who don’t know any better (innocents), or ascendance to more prestigious rungs on the post Judgement Day status levels, nice people can be switched by the entity’s leadership into maniacal-like killers, fairly fast.

“Fairly fast” is intended to mean here that warriors for Allah may not have to be created over extended periods in so called hate-based madrasses, as some observers of the ordinary conversion-of-moderate-to-radical murderer phenomenon opine. You can get that extra soldiering resource just by the Caliph’s declaiming a just cause which has already been approved by the most higher up, and declaring war as the necessary holy response. That is the Caliphate’s job/responsibility-to-protect-the-system  and doctrinally ordered under the Sunnah to be the informal, and sometimes referenced by those in the Islamic managerial know, Sixth Pillar of Islam, when the ummah’s individuals otherwise adhere only to five.  And you never have to worry about Caliphs deciding the right application of violence. High ranking Imams help that authority to know when the violent Allah is demanding jihad.

The Vulnerability of Killing Heinously

Blending traditional dissociated psychology — and its projective defenses referenced above and those found under this heading — attending normal Islamism cult life with the requirements to commit policy-based/ordered heinous acts of murder, or from the Islamic perspective spiritual evolution, can cause vulnerability to this opposition, and no matter that in the beginning things can get a little rigid. Unless the doer is a biologically constructed psychopath or condition-mimicking pathological drug user, perpetrator psychodynamics developed from the application of such deeds can kick back on the killer, thus also, inevitably, back upon the policy and its makers.

As expressed in The Al Qaeda Reader, Ayman al-Zawarhi understood this prospect, and wrote policy essays to guard against it. A cardinal — albeit that may not be the best adjective to use in describing an Islamist’s reasoning regarding the use of terror — rule has it that you don’t do anything that may show Allah/Islam(ism) in a bad light. Even more emphatic, if you do something with terror, it better work out for the advancement of Islam as a whole. Otherwise the terrorist causing the action runs the risk of losing Allah’s, and thus the entire violent aspects of the Ulema’s support. Hence, terrorists or any kind of attacker from the program must and often does get pre event spiritual authorization from somebody who taught at or at least graduated from a place like Al-Azhar University in Egypt, and then went on with other trainings to achieve Imam status.

But despite divine permission from those in charge of it, things can still go internally bad for the individual who commits heinous acts, even in the name of Allah. I say that, not from clinical management staffing experience with post terror operatives, but from both 1) efforts with direct therapy on those who before were thought to be unmercifully psychopathic in other heinous treatments of targeted unfortunates, including family members; and 2) a read of the literature pertaining to the perpetrator’s mind that carries out organizational-styled deadly activities, and in the broader global where Islamism isn’t even involved.

That study can, as it did me, carry one into lengthy evaluations of the experience of insanity gone physically aggressive as manifested by hurting humans who don’t need to be, to mean non combatant innocents. That activity has been objectified for management by calling it ethnic cleansing, pogrom implementation, re education, great leaps forward, or just “forward,” genocide, and more simply, extermination, among other things.

Thanks to the psycho-investigators of the conquered (praise be) Nazis in the latter half of the twentieth century, much is written about the individual killer-through-employment or -dedication-to-a-cause phenomenon. The reads, sourced mostly from interviews and trials,  give lots of explanation regarding behaviorally interpreted defenses. And it covers the epistemological, ideological and social doctrininal influences on individual non combatized killing. But very few, from the perspective of my interests, detailers of the murdering-to-achieve-a-political-effect psychology do the job that does Anna Geifman in Death Orders, 2010. She considers the states of minds of not just Bolshevik killers at the beginnings of the twentieth century, but as well those murdering and maiming for Allah all the way up to the end of that circa and the beginnings of the twenty-first century.

Some, then, but not all killer candidates, will undergo the standard self traumatizing experience that perpetrators of heinous events will enjoin. And they particularly will take this psycho-hit if carnage or the death of children are part of the application. Here for those some is not just how it works, but how it is assured.

Like ordinary trauma targets/vicims, non bio-based perps sustain the same underlying — at the core — disallusion by the event, no matter that they are the ones doing/causing it. Good defenses, like rigid intrapsychic compartmentalization, support the experience that the doer has, thanks to the rationales stored in the abstract, risen above the otherwise what would be thought to be natural human processings: projection, transference, loss and feeling of pain. To take a non-murderous-perp, but nevertheless trauma etiology-producing correlatable example, when an American military professional observes a bullet or piece of shrapnel dismember a team member’s, even an enemy’s, skull, the core intrapsychic change, at least underneath, begins. “I’m a human with a head. Removal of that person’s could also occur for mine.” More dramatically, through relationship such observers project aspects of themselves onto the dead, or maimed if not yet. Hence, and although necessarily — so one can do survival things — fought during occurrence of the event and for a while afterwards, maybe a decade, twenty years or even a half century depending on the synaptic strengths of the affected’s defensive capacities, the initiation of internal psychic disruption has begun.

That event is stored both consciously and in an alternative — at least minimized and sometimes fully unconscious memory — eidetically; to mean when played back into the conscious it presents with the clarity of a video or movie. Also eidetically stored, the change to the existential elements of identity are maintained in that same unconscious. That is, pre event notions that people should have heads in order to function, and which ideas are fundamental to the continuity of life, are set by the change in reality into synaptic molecular, and attended by a parallel behavioral — the observable, i.e., from denial to the experience of the loss, grief — extinction. Where discussed throughout the Etiotropic literature base, “extinction” is more explicitly referenced herehere, here, and as formally as I can present it, here.

In the meantime, this referenced neuromolecular extinction can be summarized as reductions in efficacy of the potentiated synapse retaining core — as in existential — elements of identity, simultaneously offset and facilitated by increases in strengths of those potentiations which neurologically house the new reality. The self modulating process is facilitated by the HAPA (Hypothalymic-to-Adrenal-to-Pituitary-Axis), also called “Stress” response, which produces the neuroplastic builders that support morphalogical change required to engender, develop and eventually end the activity. Those builders are, too, modulated by Noradrenergic and Opioid synaptic bindings experienced behaviorally as waves of pain, to include grief, offset by states, sometimes to mean protracted ones, of delusion, denial, and euphoria — “Everything’s fine.” “Nobody laid a psychic hand on them.” “Allahu Akbar.” — to mean, and particularly if the unconscious is working in accordance with organizational narrative dictates, there are no apparent psychological consequences to committing heinous acts/murder, at least for members of this gang, and for the time being.

That is, to facilitate extinction of the pre event reality, more synapses are needed and grown to host the entire process. Thus, extinction provides the biological substrate/engine for both creation and assimilation of the new reality being neuromolecularly established subsequent and consequent to the event.

Depending on the application and influence of exogenous variables, mostly, some of the process happens rapidly. Some of it takes considerable time. But all of it underpins the so called internal consciousness of also all affected by trauma, excepting bio-based perps: those profoundly affected by biological psychopathia.

There’s a direct relationship between the descriptive, heinous, and extinction. The more outside-the-norm a behavior, act or event is to a particular set of synapses hosting one’s identity, referring to existentially modified values, beliefs, images, and other realities, the greater the amount of morphological change to be undergone, and,   albeit incidental to this discussion also simultaneously greater degree of hysteria — rationalized reasoning —needed in the abstract to protect the overall psychic apparatus during the extinction activity.

Carnage serves the heinous purpose when, of course, the viewer sees blood flow, body organ evisceration, and other slaughter. Where on top, everyone in the crisis management industry knows addressing that disruption to the psych is just part of the job to be worked through both tenaciously and professionally, not to mention fast and repetitively, underneath it plays for some as if it were to be coming from, or happening to, one’s self. And if that were true, then one would be pretty dead, soon; which notion by itself can be traumatizing. Similarly with the murder of children, they are all that we love and vest ourselves in for survival of not just the species, but ourselves individually. They represent our best efforts at creation of something good about us, and with their innocence offer a chance of starting over, to not make the same mistakes with and for them, that we may have made with ourselves. Killing those children epitomizes heinousness, as once they are gone, there is no more us, psychologically speaking. It would be hard to get more heinous than that, I think, anyway. And I’ve studied some serious heinousnesses.

Much is deservedly made in the literature and even pop culture about a heinousness-inducing-killer’s pre event capacities to objectify a target into either nothing, or that which is lower than the low. Notoriously, Nazi’s formatted their minds to see Jews and other non Aryans as vermin. Islamists do the same with non believers. Marxists, Leninists, Stalinists, Maoists’, and Hutus provide additional examples of reduction-based pre culling psychologies adapted for and to killing heinously. But even with all that hysterical intellectual mob-thinking influence on individual decision making, the extinction activity does, and will in the end, rule, subject of course to the disclaimers already referenced, and those emphasized next.

Specific interceders that stop or slow extinction in that existential cornerstone of the murderous psych are (A) hysterically intense reliance upon the abstract — i.e., philosophy and rational-cognitive intellectualizations of cause, (B) medications, which come in many psychotropic, to include not just prescription coping agents but social drug use (e.g., alcohol, cocaine, opiates and marijuana) forms, (C) spectacular feats of survival while on the run escaping vendettas/justice and other hangmen, or/and (D) heavy duty apotheoization of the process, which aside from being a part of the first response (A), also can become a complete new life to the so affected person. Sometimes, even those basic helping agents stop working, whereas the extinction activity converges with the conscious culminating in completion. And, affected defenses then fall apart, both seemingly and actually. Painfully influential epiphany.

Therein lies the vulnerability to both users of heinous killing and the organization which orders it. Extinction will take its course, ensuring that the entity will reconcile itself with the changes brought about by the event. When/if the individual cult members complete the extinction process, they will conclude that the methodology and its driving force, the cause, must be abandoned. From the organization’s perspective, “Oh thank heaven” for the apostasy death sentence, as it can serve to structurally block the extinction’s culmination. Or at least it tries.

Managers of heinous killer operations know these things about their method. Therefore, they know, too, and even though they are not into synaptic interpretations of this biological bete noir, that they are in a race with internal extinction-induced psychic demands to fall apart, which then threatens that the cause’s narrative might fall apart as well. In this contest, the organization, or heinousness-inducing killer manager must facilitate achievement of organizational/narrative goals, e.g. conquering/destroying the world, before extinction pulls the plug on the capacity to do so. Although that’s nice to know that what appears to be an element of the most virolent of the human strain may have a heart — somewhere in those mental innards — the notion that the contest, itself, pushes the aggression to succeed before the pathology, as they view it, would bring the cause down, can be uncomfortably disconcerting for those of us on the other side: Dar al Harb.

“THAT Allah’s Coming Here?!”

Regrettably for America, and particularly with the advent of TV and now even the Internet — add to that recent estimates of so called radical elements, determined by sampling and probability interpretative guesswork of prospective action implementers — the oceans don’t mean as much (as they did previously as protectors for this hemisphere) to this rabidly accelerating force, at least when the trauma-igniting burners are turned up and focused upon us. Adding some guerrilla and terrorist tactics, lots of confusion because of the veiled threat of danger from those who’ve been converted, a continued Westerner training program that adheres to linear,  e.g., logical and legal, ways of thinking when decapitations and blood flow are painting up the viewing screen, and the incapacity to turn that developing swarm away before it envelopes its target with maniacal dedication to do this Allah’s Will — destroy the Great Satan — and we suddenly understand how this otherwise seemingly far off threat becomes an existential matter for the once believed to be indestructible America, and again for emphasis, despite the water.

In lieu of constant barrages of explosives, murder and mayhem, but which would come through accelerated guerrilla/terrorist applications, adversaries would barter peace for the lifting of first Amendment restraints against claims of defamation of the source or perpetrator of the traumatic condition. No more criticism of any form of Islam, and particularly Allah and Its spokesmen. And all of a sudden, under the pain of death and its constant prospects, defaming a religion, particularly a great and loving one, seems patently not just unfair, but also all of a sudden, un-American. Goodbye thereafter to that once thought-to-be more civilized defense through expression.

With that part of the contest out of the way and new Allah-inspired bosses free to instruct American locals on right and wrong, Islamic/ism-styled, and with no critical debate options  containing the struggle to words, the unfettered or honest discussion method would be replaced. Not everywhere, at first, but in zones cordoned off by filtering brothers, people who now without checks on this violently expressed zealotry would become so rabid that they pour out of and over the perimeters of restraint otherwise previously established by the once more and always most loving alter Allah — we-can-all-get-along-if-ya’ll-do-what-I-say.

Most respondents still not yet turned into zombies by their fear, would fight back with civil and maybe even criminal process against the new appearances of harsh impositions by pogrom. But American character of the individual which used to stand up alone against injustice, would not be able to do so. The physical characters would disappear altogether, both from trying to stay alive, and not being able to do so. All the while Muslims following a different, that is more peacefully oriented understanding of Allah would shrink back into non violent practices of their faith, and hope their children don’t go the other way.

“Man’s laws” inevitably become subordinated to “God’s,” in this case “Allah’s law:” Shariah of course. Before the blink of an eye, its courts would both permeate and surround places within the fuller Anglosphere, like Britain, the geopolitic that initiated secular-based social problem solving of differences with common law.

But although those “coming here” examples are indeed existential, if one considers the change to psychological reality an identifier related to existence, that’s still not what all the seriousness over ISIS is about. It is

  1. physical annihilation of all resistance to Allah’s supremacy,
  2. theft by and for Allah of all physical valuables,
  3. imposition and management of dhimmi-styled slavery upon, yes, dhimmes, and
  4. no more baby-back barbecued pork ribs.

That would come, most likely, in two basic waves: 1) guerrilla to terrorist implementations convoluted, as in also cloaked, by the legal jihad approach; and intendedly overlapped by the 2) afeared incoming  hordes model and effect.

Methodically Applied Guerrillaism and Terrorism

Between 1905-1907, the Bolsheviks advanced the first reference, blowing bombs up at, under and in strategic targets, constant murder of Czarist managers, and then later democratic Menshevik leader-shippers, suicidal-styled attacks showing zealotry for the ideology, and fund-raising through bank robbery and murder. Anna Geifman tells that story for the new American aristocracy, academia, and even us commoners in Death Orders: The Vanguard of Modern Terrorism in Revolutionary Russia; 2010. I think and therefore suggest that her work is pretty much a must read for those, no matter their class status, interested in understanding the terror component of the “coming here” phenomenon/threat proposed by our antagonists for 2014- America.

Although Vladimir Lenin certainly applied terror in the formation of the Reds’ system of management, it would be the old Georgian bank robber, Joseph Stalin, who would adapt the terror method to organized management of both his believing functionaries who implemented the massive murderous government takeover of private property, particularly farming in the Caucasus, and in the best documented, Ukraine. Vitya Kravchenko tells that story from an insider’s view in his 1946 book, I Chose Freedom. I think that’s another must for those wondering how in the world apparently regular and even otherwise highly principled folks — as did the Russians for example, and not wanting to be prescient, moderates maybe also like those down in Mexico, or Central America, or even those on the other side of the Panama Canal — can/could be turned not just against a group of masses, but themselves as implementers of such horror. Aside from documentaries and movies addressing aspects of this subject as it pertained to the German WWII holocaust, two works explore the same murder by ordinaries in Kampuchea: “The Flute Player” and “S-21: Khmer Rouge Killing Machine.”

That is, good people can be facilitated to do bad things in really bad collectively disintegrating situations. Straightening out, to mean conforming of the opposition by head chopping, actually faux legal (e.g., Soviet show trials circa 1917-1991) head shooting of those not making the cut for the new political leadership team — the first seventy-plus and subsequent ALL years of the Soviet approach — has provided the current quintessential model for how to get a once valiant people to cannibalize themselves when under terror-caused stress.

Depending on who’s done the counting, but looking mostly at Robert Conquest’s attempt (The Great Terror) to do it reasonably, these uses of terror management cost one group of the world’s population between forty to sixty million human beings. Others, later through the copycat work of Mao Zedong in China, to include about eighty million; only two M in Cambodia, and assorted murder/deaths throughout the world for the same cause, showed how deep ranks of ordinaries were turned into psychopathic mass torturers/murders/killers/slaughterers. All of those forces comprised of regulars-turned-monsters, except for Kampucheans, dwarfed the more popularly noted German exterminating rampages by a polity who-never-saw-a-thing during the mid twentieth century.

And out of that latter pogrom, plus similar types of ill treatment occurring throughout Europe and Russia,  was born overnight — albeit the roots for this rebuilding effort were initiated nearly a century earlier — the “miracle” state of Zionist Israel. The referenced apparent extraordinary psychic act was not just the emigration of millions who otherwise would be killed, but the psychological transformation of a host of folks from auto-docility to fighting for life, for their lives, and determinedly so. For example, when those shop keepers and professional-based peoples from the northern sides of the Mediterranean walked ashore on its southern beaches, they picked up rifles and ammunition, started firing them as needed, and didn’t stop since even last night. According to Benny Morris, twenty years later that adaptation was nailed as a constitutional change in a plaque over a bar somewhere in Tel Aviv. It read, according to Morris’s first once-celebrated-as-leftist history of Zionism “The Eleventh Commandment — Don’t get murdered.” One would think these early Mediterranean boat people had become Texans.

But hasn’t the world with its new Chirp and Cognitive Behavioral — both to mean attempting to change reality by adapting a more helpfully skewing perspective and rewritten in more succinct language — gotten past all that terror caused denial? “Not hardly” say those lesser edified and in charge of expression when looking straightaway at the facts, some of them gruesome. Since just 9/11, approximately twenty thousand episodes of terror/perpetrator-caused events have blown the entire world upside down, and with some levels of so called human consciousness barely knowing about, if even capable of being aware of, it.The trauma of serious horror, some of which we are now seeing on public video, is just too much for some of those consciouses to take in.

Three of those twenty thousand would from the onset make me weep — which life attribute pertaining to distress vocalization (also crying) took a long time for me to otherwise learn how to do — and then become filled with rage thereafter. One was of the bicycle riding Buddhist children’s popsickle vendor who was decapitated by Islamists in a southern Thailand village. I think that one, albeit a long way away, affected me profoundly because I had lived in Southest Asian villages for significant periods, and also visited Thailand, whose formidable people I enjoyed knowing, even briefly. A second was the decapitation on an Indonesian beach of several little girls on their way to their Christian school. I didn’t know anybody from Indonesia, albeit the thought of such terror coming to innocents upon their deaths drives emotion into my spine. I didn’t know any of the decapitated children in Mosul either. Later and while in custody, the terrorist in charge of the murdering gang of devout Allah-obeying Islamist warriors said he felt, in hindsight after some incarceration, a little bit badly for the now dead children. The same, but 186 of them, and adding adults taking the total into the hundreds murdered at Beslan in 2004, supplies the third difficult-for-me-to-overcome upsettedness.

Now, which would add a fourth, if they take the head of the veteran Ranger who volunteered as a civilian only to help the refugees of the Syrian Civil War, I’ll skip the crying part in this instance and go straight to rage seldom felt since the after-battle experiences of carnage during the Vietnam War. If possible, I’d like to skip the anger part, too, and move on to the current action/war element.

Instead of far away places like the Caucasus and land containing the Sea of Galilee, “Here?” A top government spokesperson for that “Here” said very recently with calming relief for us all I’m sure, that ISIS and even the terror method in general are not existential matters for the individual American. In fact, the Executive officer, a Vice President of the United States, said “American citizens have twice the probability of being hit by lightening than by a terrorist.” A panel of TV pundits would discuss this important idea.

In doing so, they certainly would miss the point of this thesis. First, though, here are paraphrased their comments pertinent to this view.

“Publically published video of beheadings proves what cowards these antagonists/murderers are.”

How forthrightly brave. Three months ago he opined vociferously against so called boots on the ground — the answer lay in drilling for oil shale, something that obviously will now have to come about anyway. Possibly ISIS will then be argued by the left to have been a conspiracy in support of fracking and Canada-to-Texas pipeline development by Big Oil.

“These kinds of actions unite the world and particularly the Arab speaking nations against them.”

In the same three months ago, this additional commentist opined that “the ISIS scare was a hysterical over-reaction by the right/republicans, and that in a year no one would remember them” (referring not to Republicans, but ISIS). The rampagers of 2014 wouldn’t make headlines on even Fox News by the summer of 2015. Well. The only way anyone would forget about these guys is if they change their name again.

“Terror is not going to take over our way of life.”

Oh yeah?! If somebody in charge other than that Sheriff down on the Texas border doesn’t do something REAL very soon, this TV thinker should cut it down to just “take our lives” pretty quickly by replacing “way of life.” That is, after these no-chance cowardly vermin, as some commentators have called them, take and then run our guys out of the Green Zone, we’ll have another disheartening and long term political destruction-effecting series of video moments sorta like the 1975 Americans’ extra fast weekend withdrawal via Tan Son Nhut and their embassy’s across town rooftop evacuations by crowded helicopter.

In another interview of a pundit with a psychiatric, political science and journalism background, he explained, immediately following another public beheading two weeks ago, that

“the heinous  acts’ purpose is to draw America into a war with them so that recruitment,
fund raising and prestige would be enhanced for the offending organization.”

You don’t mean it?! Close, but not quite there, at least from the trauma management perspective producing this opinion.

Reiterating from the original essay on this site — as it is a fundamental principle of traditional offensive trauma management (OTM), that is, what the Bolsheviks, Al Qaeda, HAMAS and ISIS have used — applied horror/terror imposes/fosters/assures experiences of shock, disbelief, confusion and fear at the beginning of the trauma’s application. The purpose of the horror, however, surpasses the emotional influence which seems to dissipate from the conscious, anyway, in only a few days out from the event, and until another one comes along in about two weeks. Horror/terror/trauma is not applied just to make the surviving targets, us, feel badly, to scare us as some would opine. It has a practical application. When implemented by someone who understands the process, as that is occurring in this case with ISIS management, the strategic use of horror facilitates warring, revolution, mass change, compliance. And though an objective appraiser may not really know/see it, to reference the undermining part of the revolution, happening while being initiated, eventually becoming inured to televised decapitations with color commentator follow ups is a sure sign that the more observable part of the upheaval — regime change — is near at hand, or at least just down the road.

The members of any system so targeted by manipulative horror will, assuredly, respond in one of three predictable ways, which the perpetrator of the systemically trauma-inducing event will both plan for, to mean strategically count on, and exploit. Targeted members will ALWAYS and EITHER:

  1. Try to disappear, psychologically speaking. Cliche — “head in the sand” — and “denial” most often describe this element of systemic traumatic influence. Its purpose: neutralize by inducing immobility of decision making into this component, for example one third of the overall targeted constituency. While being psycho-pulverized, this group both advocates for and hides behind diplomacy-based problem solving and legal solutions which otherwise are rendered moot by a dearth of enforcement provisions. Is akin to rationalizing a live-in alcoholic/drug addict’s increasingly toxically induced bizarre behavior till after thirty-five years or so of the onslaught, taking what was before unacceptability to the now new norm. Inevitably, you are responsible for it as well; and I’m sorry to say also opined by others and the traumatized self to have wanted it all along. Coping through hindsight reconfiguration of the pre traumatized entity.
  2. Another portion, say again for example a second third, will respond by fighting, which is in this use to mean also caring profoundly to the extent of risking one’s life for family, neighbors, community and nation as a whole.
  3. Aggressively support, align with, defend, help the perpetrators — Stockholm Syndrome. Along and in conjunction with the constituency hiding out in number one, this component undermines the efforts of those (in number two) who otherwise would strive to resist the invasion.

The objective for that application and its contrived perpetrator-supporting consequences is to undermine/depreciate/erode/destroy not just the will of its opposition, in this instance us, but the capacity to even know what “will” is, or used to be. Moreover, to do such a thing to the great Satan, in this instance, is to strengthen the probabilities of uniting, not the West, but the ummah as it’s billion plus members are spread around the globe. Knowing that America will most probably of all Western targets respond by fighting, and winning battles for at least a while, the risk versus the prospective reward of bringing down Islamic styled governments that host that ummah, and not even mentioning the booty take from the buckets of money to come out of their gas pumps, makes the choice for terror’s application easy.

Publicly shown beheadings, which a couple of Western civilization’s founders also used until not just too long ago in the second and last quarters of the twentieth century, are not the only applications/methods used by offensive trauma managers (OTM’s) — a few people who would aspire to control entire populations. Suicide/homicide bombing, assassination of a polity’s political/religious/journalist/judicial/academic leadership and that community’s protectors (law enforcement personnel, soldiers in the supposedly safe zones, and their families) by shooting, hostage-taking and -torture, rockets with explosions falling indiscriminately from the air into population centers, ambushes and bombings for those in transit, so called “suitcase nuclear” explosions intended for the same groups not to mention the blowing up and into the wind currents of the stratosphere of unguarded nuke waste stored downwind of the nation’s food-growing belt on the Great Plains, and emphasizing prospective attacks upon the most innocent — shoppers, church goers, sporting event enthusiasts, travelers, celebrators at festivals, and children — all support the task of imposing trauma for the purpose of achieving the OTM’s strategic goals.

The Hordes Model and Effect

“What constitutes a horde and how big is it?” “How could a horde even get here?”
“Could a horde be an issue?”

There were no hordes with which to contend in 1876 America until a couple hundred of the Seventh Cavalry chased an ambush-setting small Lakota Sioux Indian war party onto the Little Big Horn. The ambush, which turned out to be an existential matter for this component of the 7th, was comprised of a horde of less than a few thousand Indian/Native American fighters. Nevertheless, it rolled over two hundred and eight of America’s best during the great Indian Wars of that era. But lucky for us white men, the horde receded on its own, quitting while ahead and giving them considerable face for eternity.

Hordes can be big or small, relative to the size of their adversaries. For example, counting the prostitutes maintained in its movements, the Islamists, then only Islam, of 1683 Battle of the Gates of Vienna is said to have numbered several hundred thousand Islamic warriors. They were seen no doubt as a horde when comparing their numbers to that former bastion’s defenders, about ten or maybe as many as thirty thousand fighters, it is said.

So for apprising hordes objectively, we could conclude/say that they can form up seemingly out of nowhere or nothing. And that even when they outnumber you by ten to one, horde warfare is not always for the bigger groups conclusively effective, as it was when Sitting Bull (SB), the Lakota Sioux’s person in charge, was managing it, or when in the alternative the world was saved by the late-to-the-scene, but nevertheless very conclusively fighting Catholic Polish Calvary.

“If there aren’t any more,” say people who are not concerned about hordes in North America, “why apprise them at all, in this twenty-first century of indestructible living? Especially if SB is no longer with us. Not likely that someone of his intellect will show up and put one together, either.” Yes. Not very likely.

Islam advanced itself initially into other countries, nations, worlds by sending or otherwise emigrating peaceful pioneer missionary-styled Muslims into those places. Nobody there was worried about hordes of Muslims as these advance groups were pretty peaceful, and they tried to get along as directed by the Sunnah to act right when visiting, at least until they achieved majority status. In those early years/centuries, though, waiting for that demographically-based geopolitical ascendency seemed to be indicative of slow growth. And the feelings of humility that attended it really didn’t fit with their mainline supremacy doctrine. The caliphate would hear their complaints regarding subsequent oppression — not being recognized by the hosting leaderships as otherwise rightfully/righteously supposed to be in charge — and send in their cavalry: the hordes, conveniently stationed next door wherever that was, somewhere between Andalusia, Delhi, and Uzbekistan, the latter always vibrant in its production of horde managers like Timur, also called Tamerlane the Great, the last serious head chopper to rain hell down on poor old Bagdad. The story goes that when that horde-based Muslim leadership last took that cradle between the Euphrates and Tigress rivers, the heads of the populace were removed, literally, and stacked into pyramid and tower formations, ninety thousand high in the first order, and then double that when the head removers were ordered back out to do more for Allah.

Well. There are no hordes across the border in Mexico, or even anywhere else in these two water protected hemispheres. And they certainly are not hiding out here in the USA! Most of us would opine.

That’s what Custer thought when he, and knowing better than to chase a baiting small group anywhere, followed it into oblivion by meeting, to his apparent surprise, a horde. But little would he know, probably, at the time that his organization’s demise would provide a lesson-learned for us anti-Islamist fighters way forward here at the beginnings of the twenty-first century. Plus, his mistake would add meaning to today’s efforts to understand and define “existential” threat.

Look to the fringe for someone to conjure a horde out of this situation. No doubt learning that lesson from the past, a non apologist writer counts the numbers and says this. Of the four or so million Muslims currently living with us on American soil, or even double that if you listen to their own estimates when touting their political efficacy, various researchers guess, with the aid of polls that endeavor to read Muslim minds, that between thirteen on the low and twenty-five percent on the higher sides, are not just radical-conversion material, but souls who’ve already made the turn. That means, according to his calculations that about one million Islamist recalcitrants are likely to be  wandering around “here,” already. They’re just looking for a sign. Who to follow? And when?

Unfortunately for us, however, Sitting Bull’s spirit and genius has apparently returned, having probably been channeled into what used to be northern Iraq and Syria. It is formed as a Caliphate no less. Worse, it has apparently learned its lesson regarding receding when otherwise on top. It plans, this time I would bet, to go all the way.

The “fringing” (which means he doesn’t work for the current administration or supporting media outlets) writer and calculating non apologist Paul Revere kind of guy — I’ve not referenced his name because I want to avoid contributing to his death by fatwa — has predicted that the federal system is acting just like General/Lt.Col Custer, blindly following this time instead the peace bait of closeted Islamists and their brothers here in America and as inspired by those from the southern islands of the Pacific Rim, and heading pale-male into the ending of the world: “Implosion” of our leadership, and worse, the structure in which they operate. Except that he also argues that our Polish Calvary will present in the form of the twenty-two million American veterans who have both the know how and courage to save the day, America’s that is.

I think so too, but without the implosion, and also with the contribution to our safety/protection/ongoingness by non veteran civilians. I believe in the American people as a whole, and not just the veteran constituency, and no matter how sleepy the former, and even more so our periodically near delirious presenting government, sometimes look.

The Building Horde

The horde in the making — if the earlier referenced guerrillaism were to be sustained in this country, say for only a little while — is the one to be concerned about. It would consist of one and a half billion people, with most of them not wanting in on this fight, at least in this near beginning. But things are changing, and rapidly. The fire being lit by ISIS is looking for fuel, which if the guerrilla campaigne were to be successful, to mean they’re just showing up in North America for three to nine months, would strengthen the horde in the rest of the world now building, turning it into a force that no one in this country is yet prepared to encounter. No American, in his right mind wants to ever harm, or even prospectively think about hurting, that many people; and for me, particularly when it could have been avoided.

Timing

Guessing, I don’t think this hemisphere will be attacked by hordes for some time, maybe six or seven months, and most probably years. Though guerrilla war waged as has been done against Israel and other civilization operating models will feel like a horde is at the gates.

First, the enemy will have to win some places like the small town in Northern Syria Kurd territory and then the area surrounding Baghdad, thereafter taking of the Green Zone for effect. Those events, which would be megaton-level world traumatizing happenings for this war, would likely come at intervals, paralleled by same TV played decapitations occurring as they have so far, between every two to three weeks.

Second, those  two geographic areas are not so important strategically to our surmises, albeit their timings as increasing waves of collective stress would have a significant traumatic influence on the interplay between perp and target. And of course, those influences would strengthen this adversary’s reliance upon its primary weapon, Allah — the violently aggressive version.

Then would come the stepped up guerrilla applications of horror activity on this side of the world. And it won’t just be lone coyote criminal mentals providing, from time to time, TV stories of dismay to the populace and equally disheartening government/journalist evaluations/codifications of true motivation and intent. It will be team/squad sized coordinated ambush-styled activities, the variety about which you can become intimately familiar beforehand by reading both the books already here recommended. Plus, for an understanding of both the individual and collective feelings likely to be experienced from such organized terror apps, read The New Shoah by Giulio Meotti, and other nice books including Guerrilla War’s — Terrorism’s — Pathogenesis and Cure, by Jesse W. Collins II; 1990-2010. The essays also recommended here might, too, be helpful. There are tons more, somewhere.

What to Do, and Not

Regarding the negative first, during a happy, joyous and free moment, to mean in the lull between massacres, beheadings and blowups, set cognitive behaviorally established action triggers so that you know or at least have an idea that, or when, you are drowning in and by trauma’s influences. For example, if you say to yourselves “At three bomb blasts in malls, four at parades, and fourteen in synagogues/churches; four hundred and twenty-three lone coyote killings, half of them beheadings; eleven public official assassinations; forty three world attempts to take parliaments, congress, the courts, or shopping malls by extremists gunmen shouting religious phrases; nine hundred twenty-six slaughter by careening automobiles-into-innocent bystanders/crowds otherwise standing peacefully on neutral sidewalks somewhere in the global; and maybe only one poisoned water supply, but a big one, then we invade the Hydra/Caliph’s body with the 101st, and better, seal the borders, IF, but only IF we can prove conspiratorial intent by, pretty much, all involved; soon as they turn themselves in.” And, at thirty-two shopping mall bomb blasts . . . and other delimitation over-runs, etc., you are still talking about it on TV, then you will have brought the best benefits of statistical science to the empirically managed process of becoming historically obliviated.

Instead of succumbing, when you find that you’ve passed those parameters set for establishing acceptable and non acceptable levels of terrorism events, know that you are in somebody’s, likely an OTM’s, devious clutches. Pray, or hire a good Etiotropic trauma manager who can take you out of the quicksand otherwise formed, strengthened in its downwardly degenerative sucking force, and always objectively sustained by the traumatization of extra high intellect.

More affirmatively, hopefully, unless everyone heads on down to the local violence-supportive, as opposed to the peacefully inclined, mosque, and converts their wills in the name of the new and coerced spiritual fulfillment, it won’t take too many more beheadings here to throw the rascal incompetents, which I hope terminology is truer than either of the alternatives “drug influenced” or, much worse, “traitors,” out,  regardless of whether America reads my views and accepts the consequent recommendations or not. To carry this Executive and its supporters/voters to their rightful separation spot in history, which by Constitutional provision would be the 2016 elections, we need a leftist fighter who can lead by following the heart, intellect and directions of its citizens. ALL OF THEM. And despite our good faith, traditional adherence to law, and pride in the orderliness attending election periods and schedules, we also all want to live. So hopefully someone who understands the transition management legalities involved will create an answer that would keep the longevity record for the longest running republic form of government, intact.

Other than that political/Constitutional matter, here are additional pieces of advice for those wishing to defend against our prospective demise, and not by lightening.

  1. Domestically conform Islam in America to comply with current US Constitution articles of governance, and not just when speaking English to the media and naive dhimmis, but when talking in the non reformation lexicon of the Mosque Barracks.
  2. Internationally, to include America, declare war on Islamism; destroy it by removing its parent group’s privileges (otherwise enjoyed by standard/reformed religions) until Islamic reformation to one peaceful entity is completed and to American satisfaction.
  3. Support violent Allah’s neuro-molecular extinction. Internationally criminalize apostasy enforcement/punishment.
  4. Once the serious conflicting part begins, to mean battle, the proper response, which has been expressed in this thesis in greater detail in other locations, e.g., in Phase One, is to posture the fight viscerally, with equal tenacity shown for fighting — not just metaphorically speaking — hand-to-hand, or with guns and knives, and maybe even interpersonally applied flame-throwers, for example, such as those used in the Pacific during WWII or the like, and particularly as opposed to reliance upon the application of video game drone-styled combat. That is, let our side fight the way that ethically suits them in the zone, if you want to survive. Then build a congruence of formidability experienced during conflict between your combatants and homefronters. Don’t let that link be broken, that is, if you as a civilization want to “win” long term against people who cut others’ heads off for effect.
  5. Enforce treason law.
  6. Close external (outside America) individual and organizational funding sources, particularly to MB/Islamist affiliates and their apologist enablers: US academia; roll back policy dependence on Mideast oil funded academic historic influences and stop accepting the same, directly or indirectly, financed government trainings, consultations and personnel placements into positions of public management authority, particularly those involving national security.
  7. Make intendedly false statements by any federal official a felony and remedially responsive by removal from office.
  8. Apply reverse affirmitive action to at least retard the rate of growth of formal legal thinkers’ encroachment on national management before it becomes completely aristocratized by profession, making it more vulnerable to offensive trauma management tactics.
  9. Apply Phases One, Two and Three recommended in this series of essays to this existential matter pertaining to Islam’s reformation. Apply SHOM to the West, beginning with America.
  10. Try not to hurt the wrong (innocent) people; DON’T use Dresden, Hiroshima, Nagasaki and marching-through-Georgia (American Civil War) fighting methods, for example, to break the will of antagonist leaderships and populations. Parenthetically, and although that approach had beneficial consequences during those histories, this Islamist War is not that kind of fight, as super or dedicated religious people’s wills don’t get broken with those methods.
  11. Find a group of non apologists and where available former Muslims (people who’ve attempted individually to fight the Islamists and Islam) to assist in rewriting a twenty-first century update to the older seventh through twelfth centuries Ulema’s initiation of Islamic jurisprudence; it’s ALL man made and mostly has to go when addressing somebody who is not a member of their organization and the physically weaker (sometimes in numbers) of their own. Straighten out, Islam, your institutionalized and actual maltreatment of women; to mean, stop doing it.
  12. Now that in the twenty-first century we are relatively, at least, all together — thanks then, again, to TV and the Web — stop cutting off hands, feet and heads, even when seemingly deserved. We’ve grown uncomfortable with that.
  13. Have a meeting and promulgate the endings of punishment for apostasy and defamation of Islam/its founder.
  14. Nuclear power plants and particularly waste (used rods) in those plants have to be protected against guerrilla units, not airplane crashes like 2001. One hundred plus plants need one hundred platoons stationed therein and by.
  15. Strengthen protections of all electric, gas and water grids.
  16. Restore ontological management methods coming out of the Enlightenment.
  17. Exalt your heritage, your country, your God, and care about yourselves, all of them/us. No matter shortcomings, you are a fine bunch of people. And you don’t deserve to die at the hands of anyone’s, and particularly in this case regarding the prospects of an ISIS’s, or its like’s, coming here.
  18. Getting ready for Phase Two, put your money into C-5(a)s and C-17s. To start. strengthen the fleet by a multiple of ten.
